Food For The Soul

Greetings my Sisters in Christ! 

I know I usually write an encouraging word of faith. 

But today, I have a heavy word of exhortation for everyone 

Including myself. 

Because God is not pleased, Sis. 

And it is not His desire that we should perish

But He is calling ALL of Us to repentance... 

So I pray that you open your heart and your mind

And that you receive God's extended hand of grace.. TODAY. 

In Jesus Name. ☺️

We ALL know what sin is, right? 

Lying, stealing, cheating, killing, gossiping etc. 

These outward appearances of sin, that ALL can see 

are not only easy to identify but also easy to rectify, thru Christ

Amen? 

But Today, God is concerned with our HIDDEN sins.. 

You know, the ones we still have 

that no one ELSE can see.. 

Like secretly envying another person's gifts or talents

Or being jealous of how someone else looks 

What they have or their thriving success  

What about unforgiveness? 

Or holding grudges?

20 years later. 

Justifying your inner hatred 

because of past pain?

Are you still being Judgmental?

In the church raising your holy hands and cursing others 

in your heart. 

When you know there is none that is righteous, NOT ONE.  

Are We still going along to get along?

Allowing our children run wild being a 'friend-parent'

Watching them run straight to Hell 

Instead of admonishing them with the word of Truth? 

Are you still a Secret Christian at work? 

Afraid to share the God you say you worship. 

Are you greedy for money? 

When you know covetousness is the sin of idolatry.

Do you lie on your taxes? 

Or hide money so you can keep your state benefits. 

Still sneaking and drinking?

Closet smoking? 

Frequenting hotels?  

Whatever it is...  

This is what is DEFILING the people of God. 

And, these are NOT hidden from God, Sis. 

And Jesus taught his disciples how to recognize 'inner defilement' 

" But those things which proceed out of the mouth comes from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies." Matthew 15:18-19

Are you still living with secret defilement, Sis? 

Because I am. 

Do you want to be made whole? 

Because I do! 

In Luke 17:6, Jesus says: 

    "If ye have the faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamore tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted into the sea; and it should obey you." 

Isn't that amazing?  

The faith of a mustard seed. 

Do you know how SMALL that is?  

And yet how MIGHTY it can be in terms of our DELIVERANCE! 

IF! 

We BELIEVE God at His word. 

Do you?  

Because I know I SURE DO!!  

And I'm Embracing my DELIVERANE NOW! 

In the NAME OF JESUS, Sis! 

No more pretending I'm good, if I'm not. 

No more hoarding pain, storing offense, or keeping score. 

I'm letting it ALL go! 

In Jesus Name! 

And IF all We need is a MEASURE of faith.... 

Then, Sis, WE GOT THIS, right? 

IF we BELIEVE what we say we Do. 

And if You do, then repeat after me...  

'Father God, please Forgive me.  For I have hidden sins, and I confess them before you now.  I believe you can deliver me, O God, and that you for your mercy in the name of Jesus! Deliver me from every evil desire, and the sin that so easily besets me.  (NAME THE SIN) be thou plucked up at the roots and cast into the sea, in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS, I declare I am washed in power of His Blood, and my sins are forgiven me!  

God loves Us, Sis. 

More than we know, and much more than We deserve. 

May His Lord bless you and keep you, May His face shine upon you, May He be gracious unto you. May these words heal your many wounds, cleanse your heavy hearts, restore your troubled minds, and be food for the Believing soul.
