Livin’ By Design

Living by Design on Your Pathway to a New You

In our journey towards becoming the best version of ourselves, it's crucial to remember that we are not aimlessly wandering through life; we are living by design. This divine design is beautifully illustrated in the Bible, reminding us of the path we should follow to become the people we are meant to be.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) offers this guidance: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Living by design means surrendering our own plans and trusting in a higher purpose. It means seeking divine guidance and aligning our actions with God's will. This doesn't imply a lack of personal agency but rather recognizing that our design is harmonious when it aligns with the Creator's intent.

In Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), God says, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This promise reminds us that our journey towards becoming a new and improved version of ourselves is part of God's grand design for our lives.

Living by design also entails self-reflection and self-improvement. In 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV), we read, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" This verse inspires us to let go of old habits and attitudes that no longer serve us and embrace the newness that transformation in Christ brings.

As we embark on our pathway to a new self, let's remember that we are co-creators with God in designing our lives. We are not passive observers but active participants in this beautiful journey. By seeking God's guidance, trusting in His plan, and continually renewing ourselves in His image, we can confidently walk the path to becoming the best versions of ourselves, living by design, and fulfilling the divine purpose set before us.
