Making Moves Monday

Happy Monday, Sis! 

You know what today is? 

Making Moves Monday! 

And today's word is "Momentum" 

Consistency in motion! 

And as our new year continues to progress 

Let's take the time to assess how we're doing

Shall we? 

CHECK IN #1: The DRIVER 

Drivers are the 'Movers and Shakers' of the world.  

Imagine a taxi cab driver in New York City - 

Who is Always on the Go, 

Always has a person in tow, 

and Always has somewhere to be. 

You know who you are, Sis. 

However, despite all their ongoing movement, 

At times, even the best of Drivers

get caught in traffic.  

Traffic represents a place of congestion, within one's control or outside of it. 

But traffic doesn't have to SLOW you down, if you plan ahead 

Unexpected traffic can be a blessing in disguise

When used to maximize your productivity while idle. 

By capturing moments like 'checking emails' ,  ' doing follow up calls' or 'checking in on Mom' 

So for all my Diva Drivers

And you know who you are! 

Keep doing you, Boo!  

Rocking out that plan, and MAKING THEM MOVES!    

CHECK IN #2: The RUNNER

The Runners are those who are naturally high in energy and always on the go. 

Runners are exceptional because they have also have levels of endurance

Meaning they are capable of covering a lot of ground in a short matter of time. 

In short, they get it DONE. 

Problem with RUNNING everywhere is that you will eventually RUN yourself into the ground.  

Do you see yourself, Sis? 

Because being a runner is a WONDERFUL thing! 

Runners are disciplined, highly skilled, and focused. 

But to become more exceptional as a runner, please remember to 

Listen to your body

Eat well and stay hydrated

Find relaxation in between runs 

And remember, you always run better with a group. 

In short, in order to run your way to success, 

You must make some better moves! 

CHECK IN # 3 - The WALKER 

WALKERS are those who take.... their..... TIME! 

This beloved form of recreation is recommended by Physicians 

because of its many health benefits including 

better blood circulation 

Heart regulation 

Stronger bones 

Improved digestion 

and natural weight loss

WALKERS are those who move at a pace that is slow and steady. 

Which means these are the strategic planners of the world. 

Those who observe as they move, and whose insight is from the ground up. 

Walkers are essential, because they pace themselves according to their own capacity 

Rather than compete with someone else's. 

Walkers are adaptive, in that they can walk alone or within a group. 

Walkers are Visionaries! 

Careful planners, who tend to map out all the key details before they begin to walk. 

Where to walk 

How long walk 

What they need for their walk 

All with their goal for walking in mind. 

Shout out to you, Sis! 

Those who accomplish so much, One-Step-At-a-TIME ! 

Way to keep it simple, as you Make a Move! 

FINAL THOUGHTS: Keep MOVING 

As this year progresses, as we continue to move forward towards new goals and aspirations

Please keep this one thought in mind. 

' Know ye not that they which run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.' {I Corinthians 9:24- KJV}

This is a race. 

But it's not a competition. 

So Keep MOVING! 

We all have our own ASSIGNMENTS, and our goal is to COMPLETE our own INDIVIDUAL task. 

A wise man named King Solomon put it like this: 

' ....the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither bread to the wise, nor yet riches to the men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.'      (Ecc 9:11- KJV)  

Don't miss this time, Sis. 

Nor this opportunity to do something GREAT in the world! 

Something uniquely and divinely ordered by God. 

Something chosen for YOU specifically! 

Something that requires Momentum for you to accomplish. 

And something only YOU can do the way YOU do! 

Are you Ready to change the world, Sis? 

Then you have to KEEP MOVING! 

Because there are no guarantees you will unless you maintain proper Momentum. 

If you're a DRIVER

Then drive with purpose, and don't forget to plan ahead for traffic, and to do a rest stop. 

If you're a RUNNER

Then run with zeal, and don't forget to balance your eating and resting schedules and find a good team to run with. 

If you're a WALKER  

Then walk strategically, and BE bold, because your observations are essential and your insight is keen. 

But whoever you are, and whatever you do... 

Keep it Simple, Ladies.... 

But also KEEP IT MOVING!
