Time to Go to Work

Morning, Sis! 

Girl, it's early....

and I'm REALLY feeling tired this morning. 

Yesterday was a LOOOOOONG day. 

I was literally driving around in my car, ALL DAY Long! 

I drove approximately 129 miles. 

Locally. 

I know, right? 

Then to finish the day strong, I had the nerve to STILL GO 

to my kickboxing class. 

And my body is telling me, I definitely had a good workout. 

But it's still time to go to work, work, work. 

So today, I'm already off to the races. 

I've got an in-person team meeting at 8am. 

Three phones meetings 

One client pick up and transport at 11am. 

Two follow up appointments this afternoon. 

Still have to enter my progress notes from yesterday. 

I've got an On-boarding to complete

A proposal to write

And bible study later this evening @ 7pm. 

Full day, yes? 

Why am I telling you all this? 

Because it's Harvest Season.  

And that means it's time to go to work, work, work! 

Let me explain. 

You see some people mistake the Harvest Season as a time of rest. 

Because it's the time that comes AFTER the seeds have been planted. 

The ground has been tilled. 

The land watered. 

And everything is blooming and growing. 

So since all the hard work has already been done,

then it's time to rest, right?

WRONG! 

Now it's time to PUT IN WORK!!

In Matthew 9:37-38. Jesus talks about this: 

"Then he said unto his disciples, The harvest is truly plenteous, but the  laborers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the Harvest, that He will send forth laborers into the Harvest" (KJV)

You notice he didn't say nothing about resting? 

That's cuz it's time to go to WORK, WORK, WORK! 

Do you know the process for harvesting wheat once it is ripe? 

First you have to cut it down. 

Then you have cut off its branches. 

Then you remove the bark. 

Separate the stems. 

Put it in the back of the combine. 

So you can thresh and winnow it. 

Bag it and sell it.  

Sis. 

Do you see all the intricate work involved with something as 

simple as harvesting wheat? 

If it takes all this to grow some wheat

What do You think it will take for You to succeed? 

For you to start that business? 

Get that promotion? 

Write that book? 

Fulfill your Vision? 

It's Harvest TIME, Ladies! 

And yes, it will be HARD! 

Duh!! 

But WE can handle it. 

So tired or not 

Unsure or not

Lacking confidence or not

Scared or not

Lack resources or not

Failed the last time you tried or NOT! 

It's STILL Harvest Season

So time to go to WORK! 

"While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and the cold and the heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." Genesis 8:22 (KJV) 

God is not a man that He should lie. 

And the bible says, in order to receive His promises 

all we have to say is "Yes, and Amen". 

What are you believing God for? 

This is your Season. 

So trust Him at His word. 

Plant your seeds, Sis. 

Till and Water your plan until it grows, Girl. 

Then prepare to reap the bounty of all you've sown. 

Because this is the TIME of the Harvest.... 

So you know what you need to do, right?  

Go to WORK! WORK! WORK!
