Proverbs 3:5-7 tells us to Trust in the Lord with ALL of our heart and not to lean to our own understanding....But to acknowledge the Lord in ALL of our ways and HE will direct our paths.
Too often we are willing to trust God with SOME things but not EVERYTHING. We convince ourselves that we are able to attend to the concern without "worrying" God. I can admit that my life's biggest missteps occurred when I took something into MY hands without seeking guidance from the Lord. When we begin to truly trust God with even the small and painful details of our life, we emerge victorious. Trusting God will take you to heights that you have never imagined. Trusting God will also steer you away from danger and compromising situations. As much as we THINK we know, we are NOT all knowing- Only God is all knowing. What is great for one person may be destructive for you- God knows the details!
So on this Thursday, I challenge you to get over yourself and truly TRUST GOD.
